It has been a long time since Yoi and TatiAna first met. Having nurtured their friendship, they will be taking to the stage together in Antwerp for the first time this year.
Yoi is the owner of the Tokyo SM bar ‘ubu’ and is active as an organiser of various events based in Japan, whilst TatiAna is a model who performs in bondage shows in Japan and around the world. This performance is based on the ancient Japanese folktale ‘The Fox’s Wedding’ A fox wedding procession / a Japanese folklore term for a sunshower—a Japanese fable in which, when it is sunny but rain suddenly begins to fall, a mysterious phenomenon is said to be occurring in the mountains: ‘A sunshower is a mysterious phenomenon where it rains even though the sun is shining. In the past, the Japanese believed that foxes were using magic to deceive them, or that they were holding secret weddings in the rain.’
Using this as their theme, Yoi and TatiAna will express the beauty of traditional Japanese aesthetics.
